I will stamp all over 'credible combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.

Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
